Eduardo Sirotsky Melzer, as he is popularly known, is the current president of RBS Group. Eduardo Sirotsky Melzer, for that, is his real name. He was born in 1972 to a traditionally respected entrepreneurial family. He is a grandson of the Brazilian entrepreneurial legend, Mauricio Sirotsky Sobrino, and a Nephew to Nelson Sirotsky, a respected businessman. Mauricio Sobrino established RBS Group, a media conglomerate that operates in the Brazilian states of Santa Catarina and the Rio Grande do Sul about six decades ago. The Sirotsky family is the dominant shareholder. Duda now doubles up as the president and chairman of the Board of Directors of the company. He is also the chairman of e.Bricks Digital, a Brazilian-based digital company but has a presence in the United States.
According to clicrbs, Duda Melzer started his studies in Brazil, graduating with his undergraduate degree in BA from the PCURS in 1998. He later relocated to the U.S. for his postgraduate studies at Harvard University. At Harvard, he pursued three different courses that ran simultaneously: an MBA, Effective Strategic for Media Companies, and Building & Leading Customer Centric Organizations.
Upon completing his postgraduate studies, Duda Melzer spent about three years working with American companies. He got his first job as a financial analyst with Delphi Corporation, before moving on to become the CEO of Box Top Media. After a brief stint in this position, he was appointed to the director general position at Family Communication Network, a job he did until he left for Brazil in 2004.
