Mark Mofid and Gluteal Augmentation

Dr. Mark Mofid, the board-certified plastic surgeon of San Diego and La Jolla, is currently taking a great interest in gluteal augmentation, in other word, buttocks augmentation. The Brazilian term and plastic surgery procedure were studied in great detail by Dr. Mofid, and throughout his studies, he was able to get a tight grasp on the procedure and bring a quality version of the process to America where he would perform quite frequently on his American patients. In 2012, it was reported that over 2,000 gluteal augmentations were administered. And, in Brazil, 20,000. Dr. Mofid would take his grasp on gluteal augmentation and create an innovational product.

Dr. Mark Mofid worked alongside Dr. Raul Gonzalez – a renowned Brazilian plastic surgeon with experience that dates back to 1984. Through doctors like Dr. Mark Mofid – who has traveled to Brazil and has taken the time to develop his skill-set to provide such procedure – America is now becoming better versed in the surgical procedure process, allowing the trip to Brazil less of a requirement to get quality butt augmentations.

Dr. Mofid would also utilize his precious time to create an innovative butt implant product. Dr. Mofid recognized that butt implants were lacking the function of compatibility with the human muscle structure, which in turn caused a lot of sagging within the patient – the opposite of what many patients were going for in implants. Dr. Mark Mofid would study the implants that were available to patients and would work on a way to improve the butt implant design. After a while, Dr. Mofid would design a gluteal implant that would completely make a huge difference in look and performance, totally limiting the number of possible faults of butt implants.
