When people think of the United States they generally believe it to be the greatest nation on Earth. Even though this is the truth, the U.S. has laws and practices that violate human rights. President Donald Trump stated some very racial and alarming rhetoric during his campaign election. On the surface, it seemed that many people did not like what Trump had to say. The truth is that many people did agree with the president. As a result, he was elected into office in 2016. His ascension into the White House gave him power to back up some of his statements.

One area that has made people worried, afraid and downright fearful, is the area of immigration. Donald Trump passed a law that prohibited immigrants from several terrorist related states from coming to America. Donald Trump’s law had also violated people’s human rights.
